Case Study 2: Clarence Correctional Centre

Located 12kms southeast of Grafton is Clarence Correctional Centre, the largest facility of its kind in the country.  The state-of-the-art centre can accommodate up to 1700 inmates and is a technologically advanced and innovative facility.

The project is delivered by the NSW Government in partnership with the Northern Pathways Consortium consisting of John Liang, John Holland & Serco.  It will inject $560 million into the Clarence Valley economy over the next 20 years.

Case Study 3: Rapid Build Prison’s (RBP) NSW

eHealth is proud to be involved in the deployment of NSW’s innovative new “rapid-build” prisons.  The Hunter Correctional Centre at Cessnock and the Macquarie Correctional Centre at Wellington were developed to accommodate NSW’s rapidly growing prison population; designed, developed and built within 12 months.

Case Study 4: Melbourne Custody Centre

The Melbourne Custody Centre (MCC) houses offenders awaiting hearing at the Melbourne Magistrates Court.  e-Health was engaged by G4S to develop a prisoner admission and movement/location management system known as Muster.  Prison Officers manage prisoner movements on handheld tablets and have visibility of the location of any prisoner and any time.

Case Study 5: Level 4 South, Cabrini Malvern

eHealth is excited at continuing our working relationship as fulfilment contractor to Arete Australia (a division of Kane Constructions Pty Ltd) in deploying our Patient Care Ecosystem @ Cabrini Malvern.  Award winning architects DesignInc Melbourne are on-board, bringing with them an approach to the built environment that places people at the centre of design.  Our team will work closely with Teknocorp Australian again in our deployment.

Case Study 6: Essendon Fields Dialysis Centre, RMH

The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s (RMH) support for local provision for satellite haemodialysis includes the large centre @ Essendon Fields.  During treatment, patients have striking views across the airfields (plane spotting) & can access an extensive library within our Patient Entertainment including free-to-air TV, Radio, site specific content & more.  Our blue trolleys go quite well with the blue treatment chairs & also the RMH brand logo.

Case Study 7: Lisa Thurin Women’s Health Centre, Cabrini Elsternwick

In September 2021, Cabrini opened the Lisa Thurin Women’s Health Centre, Australia’s first private, women’s-only mental health hospital.

Located in Elsternwick, this 30-bed inpatient unit focuses on treatment for mental health conditions including mood disorders, addictions and complex trauma disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  The centre is a kind and respectful place where women can feel safe and supported as they deal with their illness.

Our integrated Patient Entertainment Solution deployed at site provides patients with a wide range of infotainment options including Education, TV, Games, On-Demand Services and more.

We look forward to the journey ahead and supporting a site that delivers so much in patient care.

Rapid-Build Prisons

eHealth is proud to be involved in the deployment of NSW innovative new “rapid-build” prisons.  The Hunter Correctional Centre at Cessnock and the Macquarie Correctional Centre at Wellington were developed to accommodate NSW’ rapidly growing prison population, designed, developed and built within 12 months.

Both Hunter and Macquarie represent a new approach to the design of maximum-security prisons in Australia.  The rapid-build prisons provide a high level of structured activity, including education and training. This approach better prepares inmates for progression to minimum security and, ultimately, their return to the community.

Each inmate is assigned his own cubicle within an open-plan 25-bed dormitory.  Each of the 700 cubicles features an interactive television/touch screen computer that the inmate can use to plan their education, work assignment, rehabilitation programs and other paperwork. E-Health was engaged to design, build and deploy the technology (both hardware and software) to support this deliverable.

Corrections

Toxon is ‘an open platform for a closed system’ enabling our clients to personalize both Content & Access.  Our extensive library of solutions for Corrections & Policing includes ruggedized tablets, yard phones, video kiosks, vending, payment solutions, inmate money management and more.

Inmates can have video visits with family members and attend court via video conference (Tele Court) with legal representatives & community correctional services for matters such as parole assessments.

Our Digitisation of Mail platform allows correctional facilities to manage this issue whilst still maintaining the communication with the inmate and external parties (family, friends, or legal).

The Digitisation of mail allows correctional officers to:

  • Scan physical mail at a Correctional Facility and post digitally to the inmate via Tablet or end cell device. This can be done before, or after intelligence has handled the documents.
  • Send global mail to all inmates.
  • Reduce illicit material from entering the correctional facility.
